How Recognition Works

A parent, guardian, or teacher nominates a young creator on their behalf. Our editorial team reads every nomination and selects a small number of creators each season. Selected creators are contacted through the nominator — never directly.

01

Nominate

An adult submits a nomination on behalf of a young creator.

02

Editorial Review

Every nomination is read with care. Selections are based on the originality, clarity, imagination, and thoughtfulness of the work.

03

Illuminated

Selected creators are featured on SageLumin with a pen name only. Their work is brought into light.

For Parents & Educators

SageLumin is built for the adults who care most about the children in their lives. Every feature is designed with consent, privacy, and trust at the center.

  • Published creators use pen names only — never a child's legal name
  • Guardian approval is required before anything is published
  • No child contact information is ever collected
  • Nominations are reviewed by a human editorial team — not an algorithm
